There’s no doubt that technological advancements have sky-rocketed over the past few years. We have a technology-led solution for almost all of our problems today. Speaking of which, researchers in South Korea have come up with a wearable sensor that can detect illegal drugs in sweat with the help of a nanomaterial technology.
As reported by IANS, researchers have said that the whole process is quick and takes only a minute to complete. The way it works involves attaching a “sweat patch” to the skin for some time. It’s then exposed to light for the testing purpose. The patch absorbs the sweat and the drug substance in the sweat then gets into the wearable sensor and reaches a “silver nanowire”.
