Culver City Studio Unveiled: Apple Music’s 10th Anniversary Creative Hub

Apple Music marks its 10th anniversary with a bold new chapter. The company has unveiled a state-of-the-art creative studio in Culver City, Los Angeles. This move demonstrates Apple’s ongoing commitment to supporting artists and redefining the music experience.

Inside the New Creative Hub

The new studio spans three stories and over 15,000 square feet. Apple designed this space as a creative playground for artists, songwriters, and creators of all kinds. Notably, the facility features:

  • Two advanced radio studios with immersive spatial audio, ideal for live interviews and performances.
  • 4,000-square-foot soundstage for live shows, fan events, and screenings.
  • dedicated spatial audio mixing room equipped with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker system for next-level sound production.
  • Creative spaces including a photo and social media lab, an editing suite, and a green room for real-time content creation.
  • Private isolation booths for songwriting, podcasting, and intimate interviews.
  • Hallways lined with curated images and artwork celebrating Apple Music’s history.

Designed for Flexibility and Inspiration

Apple’s studio, crafted by renowned architect Eric Owen Moss, blends cutting-edge technology with adaptable design. The radio studios include custom spatial audio speakers, adjustable lighting, and discreet cameras. This flexibility allows artists to host interviews, record performances, or create visual content as inspiration strikes.

A Global Vision

This Culver City studio will anchor a worldwide network of Apple Music creative hubs. Studios in cities like New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, and Nashville already support artists globally, with more locations planned.

Celebrating with Special Programming

To commemorate the anniversary, Apple Music Radio is hosting a week of special broadcasts and live programming. The celebration includes retrospectives, artist interviews, and a countdown of the top 500 most-streamed songs from the past decade

Fostering Deeper Connections

Apple Music’s new studio aims to deepen connections between artists and fans. The space encourages collaboration, creativity, and storytelling. Apple’s leaders emphasize their goal to create an open environment where artists can freely express their vision and connect with audiences worldwide.

Looking Forward

With this ambitious project, Apple Music signals its intent to shape the future of music. The new studio is not just a facility—it is a creative ecosystem designed to inspire, connect, and elevate the next generation of musical talent.
